Fred had heard about Bainbridge Island in Seattle, Washington from a woman who rode on the same trails he did and decided he was going to make the trip. He needed one of those bike racks for cars to make the trip so he went shopping. Fred found an aluminum bike rack that would carry two bikes. He did not need one for two bikes but liked that it was lightweight and would cost less for him to gas the car while hauling his bicycle.

When Fred arrived in Seattle, he found a garage to park the car. He removed the bike rack and put it in the trunk. He put on his backpack and rode his bike to the ferry where he could cross Elliott Bay to the Bainbridge Island. When they reached Bainbridge Island, Fred rode his bicycle along trails that included parks and beaches. He made several stops along the way to eat and take pictures.

When Fred returned to his car, he put the bike rack back on, loaded the bicycle and tossed his backpack in the passenger seat. He got some great pictures and enjoyed the rolling hills. He could feel his legs had a good work out from the hard riding and knew he would have to return.
